Relax & Post Mortem Konsert ke-4

Strengths: Finally we heard your rich and rounded and resonant high notes last night! Saida, let me tell you something which you already know - you have a beautiful voice. Don't be shy to let it fly. So what if people compare you to your sister? Be yourself and let the REAL Saida come out. I loved how you projected your voice in the first few lines of the song and the sweet tonal qualities of your high notes really shone. OK, so you sounded very much like your sister, but that's not your fault that you both come from the same mold.

Critique: You started the song strong and it seemed that you were going to hit a home run. Visually and audibly, you were powerful at the outset and then? You ran out of stamina. I have to say I was a bit worried when you were going to sing one of your sister's songs, which would challenge you to sing with a solid technical approach. And challenge you it did. I am surprise that you have a weak mid-range. Use your diaphragm, dear. Give those notes support. Ask your teachers to explain to you how to use your cheek resonators too. You sounded nasally in most places and that's because you were projecting through your nasal resonator all the time. Your runs (lenggok) were blurred and not smooth and your ad-libs were all over the place. Why? You didn't open your mouth wide enough and there was no vocal punctuation. DROP THAT JAW AND PUNCH THOSE NOTES. Towards the end of the song it all became quite screechy and throaty simply because there was no forward placement in the voice. Don’t you think that Saida got all the easy parts and it was Noraniza being tested on her vocals? One thing great was that she did not allow Kak Ani to overtake her performance. She still stood out on stage. She is still not releasing her soul to the song. It was all about looking pretty on stage. Ning highlighted the fact that she did not take the opportunity to ad-lib or goreng her vocals. There was a great opportunity but she did not take advantage to show case what she has. Persembahan ini adalah paling teruk daripada Saida. Suara Saida lemah dan persembahannya lembik. Saida masih tidak mahu keluar dari kepompongnya. Saida tenggelam dalam persembahan yang sepatutnya menjadi miliknya. Namun, Saida membiarkan dirinya dibayangi oleh penyanyi jemputan Noraniza Idris, penari dan penyanyi latar. Relax & Post Mortem Konsert ke-3

Konsert 3 Akademi Fantasia 6 bermula dengan gimik yang menarik. Menariknya bila muzik rock bergegar di persembahan konsert minggu ini. Bermula dengan penuh bertenaga. Kalau momentum tersebut berterusan hingga ke penghujung konsert pasti ianya akan menjadi sebuah konsert yang paling diingati. Lebih menarik apabila Adlin Aman Ramlie ke kerusi pengkritik. Namun drama yang dicetuskan oleh Adlin nyata berbeza minggu ini. Minggu ini Adlin lebih serius dan bukan sarkastik bertempat seperti minggu lepas.

Saya agak kecewa dengan nyanyiannya. Berdasarkan maklumat yang saya perolehi sewaktu raptai katanya beliau telah berikan nyanyian yang mantap, malangnya tidak kedengaran di persembahan sebenar. Saya masih nampak lagi ketakutan di wajahnya. Walaupun ada peningkatan, tetapi saya masih mengharapkan sesuatu yang luar biasa dari beliau. Aspek persembahan beliau sudah cukup ramuannya, cuma aspek vokal perlu beliau berikan perhatian. From sultanmuzaffar - (6/10)

Her confidence and her performance lebih meyakinkan with every week. Still a lot of flaws, tapi kalao ikut graph pencapaian, she has outdone a lot of people in terms of improvement.Betul kata Ramli seminggu lepas, where he said Saida kena improve lagik cepat sebab prestasi dia ketinggalan dua konsert.Decent effort, tapi vocally, dia kena start beefing up suara dia. And stop touching her hair.Aku tak paham kenapa meka meroyan kata dia tak honest and not true to rock. She was being herself and delivering the song in with her own flavour, which was ok. Takkan lagu tuh nak melalak ke feeling sora serak baru nak anggap rock.Stereotypes don't work.Semua tak true to rock but berapa orang yang aku bagik rock star rating. Lain tuh semua fake and wannabe posers trying to look and sound like rockers but failing miserably to even project any semblance of a rocker. Lagik keji. Matilah kalau Bob Lokman ada, dia sound munafik lagik. Seb baik dia takde. Kalao tak, kang cam Stanly, overrated with little performance.Minggu depan no more discount da. Two weeks ago I commented on Saida's rather exaggerated, sometimes unnecessary hand movements that smack of pantomime. Last night, Ogy also said the same thing. Fauziah Nawi, if you're reading this, please do something about it. Saida needs to relax more on stage and let her soul sing, because she does have a lovely voice with a fine technique. She sang the song pretty well, but struggled with the interpretation. The sweet thing about Saida is that she does try, and her confidence is finally coming through. But she is also dangerously meandering in that zone all singers must avoid like the plague - mediocrity. Given the right song, she just might surprise us all. From Mr. Manager -3/5

Relax after AF 6 2nd Concert. Lega rasanya selepas persembahan. Saida rasa persembahan Saida pada malam ini sederhana dan masih boleh diperbaiki. Komen-komen juri Ning, Aidit Alfian & Adlin Aman Ramli akan saya jadikan sebagai pemangkin untuk saya terus hadapi cabaran dalam dunia AF.

Bolehlah. Boleh menari dan persembahan vokal yang sederhana walaupun rasa berterabur sana sini pitchingnya. saida kena kawal diri. dah tau terpaksa berjauhan dengan anak, lain kali jangan memandai nak masuk ujibakat af. so matang sikit. orang undi awak tu untuk melihat perkembangan vokal yang baik, bukannya kerana awak tu kakak siti.

Relax after AF 6 Concert. Saida rasa persembahan Saida pada malam ini masih boleh diperbaiki. Komen-komen juri Ning, Ajai & Kak Ogy akan saya jadikan sebagai pemangkin untuk saya terus hadapi cabaran dalam dunia AF.

Ning:Anda mempunyai suara yang besar tetapi perlu berjaga-jaga dengan pitching. Kelihatan sangat takut.
Ajai:Anda perlu berjaga-jaga dengan tempo. Perlukan lebih pengahayatan kepada lagu.
Kak Ogy:Anda kelihatan sangat gementar. Emosi yang ditunjukkan tidak konsisten. Anda tidak perlu untuk berpaling-paling ketika menyanyi.

"Saida kena belajar membuang rasa malu yang ada pada dirinya terutama sewaktu berada di pentas. Persembahannya lebih baik sewaktu sesi rehearsal kerana kurang penonton. Saya suka dengan vokalnya kerana jika diberikan latihan yang cukup pastinya ada sesuatu yang menarik untuk penonton. Sikit-sikit memang ada bunyi Siti Nurhaliza tetapi ia mungkin boleh dielakkan jika beliau tahu kekuatan vokalnya. Saya juga boleh menghayati setiap lirik yang dinyanyikan oleh Saida." "When she came on I felt like crying. Initially because she went so out of tune! My God! Sakit telinga!!!She is a nervous wreck. I mean I love Saida absolutely but she really has to get a grip on her emotions. Jangan cepat goyang atas pentas tuh.The pressure of her being compared endlessly to Siti Nurhaliza is tremendous, and I think AC was an idiot for that whacked Datuk K reference. Bodoh tol. Da la lawak lapuk, tak menjadi, and what he did brought about the wave of comparisons again to Siti.Is it possible that now the competition's started that they stop comparing her and start listening to her real voice? Saida is Saida la.. jangan asik sebut nama Siti lagi. Memang adik beradik, tapi bakat memasing ma. Among the girls - Saida rates among my faves beside Stacy and Nadia. Pacage deal. Cuma unlike the other two dia ni kena basuh sikit bagi confident lagik. But how do you blame her when she was dressed in a jubah four sizes too big (even Riz coud fit into it) dan whatever you call it that was absolutely gross that was just draped around her shoulders. What's with the hand gestures, girl? She was physically emoting the song so much with her body and facial expressions that the whole performance became corny. Nice sweet FORGETTABLE voice. I was so distracted by her hands and fingers having a life of their own that I couldn't get into the 'feel'. Hang on... there was no feel. And we won't even get into the obvious pitching and timing problems. Her breathing was messy. The placement was wrong and her high notes were screeches that could have been easily rectified with a few deep diaphragmatic breathing. But what struck me most clearly was that the girl was far too fragile (not in a good way) and she really needs to get over it if she wants to stay in the competition. From Mr. Manager
